St. Adelina

St. Adelina, a granddaughter of William the Conqueror, was a notable figure in medieval Catholic history. Born in the 11th century, she was part of the noble family of Normandy. Adelina's life took a significant turn when she entered the Benedictine order, dedicating herself to a life of prayer and service. She became the abbess of the Benedictine Convent of La Blanche in Normandy, a community founded by her brother, St. Vitalis[1][2][3].
